R.I.P., Spike

I'm not sure if I should be making this post, but I figured the fans might want to know. Do what I can to help keep you guys from making incorrect assumptions, y'know.

Spike passed on yesterday. He lived a full 9 years and I'm glad he was able to stick around so long. He didn't suffer and we were able to comfort him in his last moments here. He meant a lot to us, so it's great he was able to pass as well as he did.

I didn't really want to post anything about it here because I didn't want to confuse fans of the "Siblings" series. Many of you know it's based on reality, so I know a lot of you would be dumping your "OMG SPIKE IS DEAD, DUZ THAT MEAN HE AINT IN THE SHOW NO MORRRRREEEEE".

The truth is that "Siblings" Spike isn't going anywhere. The series is pretty much stuck in early 2007 as far as the family is concerned. I can't make them fast enough for it to keep up with real life, so I made that decision awhile back. Episode 7 is still going to be made, as well as other Spike episodes I had planned. I mean, Johny hasn't had his mop hair for half a year already, so obviously I'm not caring about updating character designs to reflect the current status of things. Honestly, what would be the point? The animations would become insanely inconsistent if I kept updating it like that.

I was originally planning on locking comments out, but apparently I didn't. So fuck it, it's staying unlocked. Just don't ask the obvious shit, okay? Please? Everything's explained in here, it just requires reading.

Take care, everyone. Appreciate what you got while you have it.

R.I.P., Spike

aww.. Im so sorry =[

Aw shit man, my dog is getting really old now... :c
I LOVED YOU SPIKE.

Sorry to hear that man.

aw... how'd he die? :c

Bone tumor, threatened to cripple him completely. As it was, he was limping like crazy and the tumor (on the inside of his leg) was the size of a fist. It would've been torture to force him to live any longer, so we let the vet do what they had to do.

dude that sucks, i know it hurts to lose a loved one.
i've had my dog moni, whos also a rottwieler, for 6 years now, hopefully she wil live on to be nine too. : (

We can only hope. I'm rooting for 9 either way!

I know we are utter rivals, but I am kinda... ya know.. sorry for your loss and stuff... but like... im still your rival... but yea... ya know... if you need anythin or some shit... hit me up.... sorry bro... like... yea... :(

I know it's hard, Spike was a good dog. No one could hate that dog... well, unless he bit em'. He's bit a few, but they all lived. Lame all the same.

Wow, i´m really sorry for your loss man, i have also lost dogs and it really hurts.
Best wishes to you and your family.

Thanks, much appreciated.

NO!!!!Poor Spike. I'm sorry and im crying for you.

that sucks but life dose not stop fo anything

Sure doesn't.

He was a great dog.

I feel for you man. I could tell spike was a great dog, and I can't imagine losing mine.

Sorry about loosing your dog... I have a dog called Topi, hes still young, but i couldnt even think about losing him. Everyday when i come from school and hes waiting for me and when he sees me he starts to shout (something in dog languace).

Yeah, that's going to be one of the hardest things to try to live without, the greeting when we get home...

My Rottweiler died when she was nine too.
My thoughts goes out to you and your family. I'm sorry

Death is a fucking show off. Prick should kill himself...

Sorry for your loss

What a beautiful dog, Rob. It's a shame that he's gone.

Yeah... but he lived a good long while, so I'm glad he did. Gotta appreciate what you got, you know.

Don't worry.Such is life. You go to the top of fame and shit and then you die.I bet he was a good dog.My dog's name is Spike too by the way :P.He is 4 years old.

I'm not worried at all, but pain is still pain. Discounting it will achieve nothing. Time heals all wounds, but pain is the result of healing. Hence, it cannot be denied.

Sorry, to hear that. I'm sure he was a great dog that will always be loved

That he will be.

Yeah I know how you feel. I lost my dog too a long time ago... Now I have an Evil Parrot -___- I tried to kill it but failed

Reading this just made me cry inside... I can tell you are devestated by the loss of your loyal companion. I honestly think you shouldn't continue with Spike in your "Siblings" animations if it breaks your heart apart too much to even poorly animate him. Anyways, I think we all know that he is in a place of no pain, no suffering, and all the ucking dog treats he could chew on :D

I still hope that Spike will hopefully live on... In your animations, and in our souls. He was probably the ideal "perfect dog" from the start, a dog anyone could love.

Anyways, I'm going to go off topic by asking what the new Siblings animation ill be about. You don't have to answer that if you don't want to :)

Oh and, because of you, I stopped using Vaan on FFXII, you manipulative bastard :D

See ya later,
-DjTyph

I haven't worked on Siblings in awhile. I was going to work on it once the Telefrancais collab was done, but life keeps getting worse... it's draining what little energy I had left.

sometimes life is unbearably tragic. :'(
