Man, i know how you feel. My Dog died of old age just a few days ago :(

I forgot to add this on my previus comment: I hope you can keep your jokes still funny even thought you have lost someone close to you. I hope you wont add spike as a head character to any other video than: Memory of Spike. Becose that can be a little too much to take. DONT TOUCH THE SPIKE VIDEOS IN YOUTUBE! I wanna watch spike and the funny rock to remember and to try understand what type of dog Spike was (I cant really never learn by just watching some videos, but...). My dog is a Shetland sheep dog (mini-lassie)

Well, Spike will still be as much of a character as he's ever been. To take him out would be to forget him, and I'd rather not do that. Also, this isn't the first death I've had to deal with, so I think I've done good about keeping the humor so far. By the way, he was a Rottweiler.

Let me just tell you those things.

Firstly. You start getting the emo bullshit desease. This thing can even make you suicide.Your words remind me of LiveCorpse's.Just read the second thing i will write
Second. That's a quote from a video game called "The World Ends with you".The quote it "Give up On yourself and you give up on the world".That should cheer you up!

I'm not saying a person should feel pain all the time, but you shouldn't bottle pain up either. Bottling it up just ensures that it'll explode later, and you could hurt someone if you're not careful. When pain comes, it's best to just let it out in the best way you can so it doesn't hurt anyone. Nothing "emo" about that at all.
And thanks, I've been keeping it together thus far. A lot more things have been getting worse, but I got my mentality in place to keep the depression from getting too bad.

sorry to get off topic, but is this your first serius post on newgrounds?

I know how painful it is to lose someone near to you :(

a few years before, two dogs that i knew died... their names were: Nöpö and Donna... they were very nice dogs... but they were VERY old... other one was about 10 (im not sure about their ages) and other one was 7 or something...

I've made serious posts before. I try not to these days, though, as the serious stuff is typically no one's business but my own. This, though, I figured would be something fans would like to know, so I figured I'd go ahead and share.
And while it is painful, it's important to try to work through it so you don't suffer through it too long.

Sorry to hear it Rob. In a way though, I guess it's nice that his image exists not only in the minds of those who knew him personally, but Spike, even if he wasn't quite true to the real one, is known by the many hundreds who saw Dog Daze of Boredom and that is a very nice gesture for a very nice dog. He seemed like a very nice dog, I'm sure you've got lots of wonderful memories with him. Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to read about it.
Best wishes for those close to spike.
Memoria in aeterna (In everlasting remembrance)

I'm sorry about Spike but I am glad that he did live a long and happy life, and he will continue to live on in our hearts and in the Siblings cartoons.

I've lost a dog myself so I know what your going through, and even though you locked your post for September 20th i would like to say that I support your decision to put your animations on hold. Fist thing in you life should be your happiness right?... but in all seriousness you shared a part of your life with us and as you can tell many people are sad for you so until you decide you want to animate again it would be a great help for you to continue to post so we know how you doing, your a good person... best of luck man.

Aw man. Spike seemed like the coolest dog ever. The poor guy. Dog Daze was my favorite Siblings episode. Hopefully stuff will look up eventually Rob. Some people just think your just some tool used for Flash animating, but to me your just a guy who inspires me try to find a job to go get some Flash. You have talent. But you have your own life and problems.

R.I.P Spike.

P.S. Thinking about getting another dog in later months?

dude you had a lot of shit happen to you lately and i see why youre sad. i wish i could help. hope you find a job soon i dont care about animations but it would be nice if you could post

around 8 months ago my loving dog max died. :( he had a cancer that spread . i know how you feel, pain is pain. but time will heal. i hope everything will be better. l :') I know it will.
