Where do I keep going?

Good lord. Why I'm writing in this account, I haven't the slightest. I haven't finished anything. Haven't for years. Made numerous attempts at new projects, only to watch them grow bloated and die from overproduction, or watch the idea itself die in a corner somewhere.

Guess I'm just updating you guys? Be glad I still remember my password, haha.

Anyway, so the whole "I'm making a game!" thing didn't go so well. Flash is horrid at big games, and that's all I seem to be capable of doing. So now I'm using a new program called Unity to make some kind of 3d RPG. Ambitious? Check. Too big? Check. Probably going to be a wasted effort that I'll never finish? Most likely. But it's fun I guess, and I'm starting to get really good at it. I can finally troubleshoot errors without taking a week to figure out why the game's breaking itself!

On the animation front, well... I've tried to start numerous animations over the past... eh... 4 years? Or so? Last release was 2010, right? So 5, I think. Anyway, all of them were wasted efforts.

Would anyone even be interested in a release for Siblings episode 7? I mean, I'm sure old fans would love it, even in its incomplete form. There's only like 5 seconds of blank animation. I could bullshit something in that, though. I enjoyed the episode otherwise. I just don't want to get your hopes up, it wouldn't mean I was back. It just seems shitty to keep it from you. It hasn't been touched in so long and it's pretty much done, you know? But it's been so long and it's been over for awhile, even if it had no actual ending.

I don't know. Maybe. Write if you still wonder about what happened to that two named bastard who liked talking fast in his animations and yelling about dumb shit. It was fun.

And because I've been staring at this screen while watching youtube videos instead of working, I will share it with you! This is what I love about having two monitors. :D

PS: And yes the background looks like shit. Hell, the whole thing does. Work in progress. Very... SLOW.... WORK.

Long time no see, Bobert! Just wanted to leave a note of encouragement.

And don't sweat it! There's plenty of great artists out there to only release things every half decade or so, I can name a few if you're curious, so I, for one, am happy to be patient and wait... ^_^

Hey, Bobert! I know the feeling; had to abandon Newgrounds for a while because work and life took over. Really sucked, too - I keep being reminded of it when my friends show me a mobile game and I'm like "Oh, I already played that." "Where?" "Newgrounds. The art and names have changed but the gameplay's the exact same."

Sorry to hear you're having a hard time getting your inspiration together, but I *am* glad to hear you're still trying, and am looking forward to eventually seeing it when you've got something you want to share again!

It's just weird, I used to be so reliant on this site. It was something I liked to check constantly, then life's like "No!". I'm not expecting to return completely, but I do have something I want to release soon. It's been too long, you know?

A shame that your game creating isn't going well but don't let it get you down.

If there's some scrap of the siblings left lying about and you don't wanna do anything else with it, I'm sure we'd still like to see it.

I missed you bud. I usually don't come to Newgrounds anymore because my favorite animators are gone, but still, it'd be nice to see another flash or something or another from you. Hell, you were one of my favorites, I'm just glad you came back to say hi.

Well, we may be looking at another one very soon. I'm going through episode 7's flash file as we speak. Hoping today or tomorrow. Who knows, though, really.

It'd be interesting to see what kind of Siblings episode comes out next, I know that you have/had a reverse theme after the fourth siblings, just curious what it'd be now.

Well, the one I had planned next kind of broke the mold a little. It involved some of the same characters as episode 4 (Mikey and Bjorn, mainly), but that was the only similarity. I only had up to episode 9 planned, I hadn't really planned anything after that.
