Hey, you remember back in, like... 08 when I made "The Heart and the Hand"? You don't?

Well I finally finished that up and have released it. This release is actually the entire thing, so if you haven't seen the first part, don't bother. "The Heart and the Hand p1" is now obsolete, as it's included in p2. I added more background stuff to the first part anyway, so go ahead and watch it all the way through.

BE WARNED THOUGH.
It's 13 minutes long. I'd count the frames and whatever, but I've never been one to do that anyway, so screw it. I will say that for such a long animation, it's incredibly devoid of dialog. It's pretty music-heavy. Just imagine, if I had actually added dialog to it, it could've been like a half hour long show. Of course, then it'd lose its charm and become like all my other work. Can't have that!

It's kinda cutesy too. You know, valentines day. And I was wanting to try making something different than I usually do, so cutesy it is! I still like it though.

I do my best to push my own boundaries. This release was definitely about releasing something long and not having Flash die. And it was a success! I was able to export it myself! Thankfully, there weren't any SUPER insane effects in the scenes, so it didn't kill my RAM like DSR did. Wow, acronyms. What the hell? Heh.

What is really up with flash? On my older computer flash was bad I couldn't even continue on a minute long animation. Hopefully this new pc can put in more work....or flash can stabilize their software..

Hah, I'd put more money on the pc doing better than Flash becoming more stable. Each release tends to be different in terms of stability. Like one version will be good at loading huge files (like any of my animations tend to be), another will be quicker to load but be prone to crashes... it's hard to tell sometimes what it wants to do, heh.

Hey! I really loved this flash, it was 10 x better than Don't Sleep Robby! Awesome work, one of my favourite flashes yet! Really adorable but the thing is, I wonder y the girl actually likes that guy. I mean- In my opinion he's like a little kid wanting his crayons back, and giving lots of trouble to her on the way... And it seems like no matter how annoying he is, she still likes him. Hahah! If only couples were like that nowadays. I would like to see a sequel to this vid! Will there be one?

Well, I've got plenty of ideas, but none I could realistically do right now. And they're all dialog heavy, so who knows if I'd be able to do anything with them. It's probably the closest thing to a pitchable TV show I have, so maybe I could go that route if I got famous enough. Hah, yeah right. Glad you enjoyed it, man!

He stayed pretty focused on that crayon, though. I thought the problem with ADHD was you couldn't focus on anything. Although due to the crayon, he couldn't focus on anything BUT that, so I guess that would be a form of it, heh.

The way the characters barely spoke reminded me of the early nintendo 64 game cut scenes , and the transitions from scene to scene were awesome. Great job Rob!

Great movie! I remember seeing the first part when it came out so when the 2nd part was loading i also loaded the first part in another window and watched that there...little did I know that the first part was also in this flash....FUUUUUU! But thats my fault, this movie is excellent, a "romantic comedy" (thats what youd call it right?) that dosent blow. I've had my Bobert fill for now, but I might be hungry for more great flashes soon! And you dont want to know what happens when I get hungry >:(!!!....I cry

Hah, that isn't the only thing I need to work on, apparently. I'd forgotten what it was like to get so much criticism on a flash. Sorry, I just went through and read the reviews of today and some of the negative ones got to me, I guess. I mean, I expected a little criticism, but I wasn't expecting anything quite like what I'm getting now. I'm glad you got some positive out of it though, I know I liked it before dealing with all this. Now I'm not so sure. :\

Loved this. Sadly it took me a couple of minutes into the story to understand it, I'm just a bit slow. :P
The point is, that was a really nice animation, you're animations have had my attention since the one about your dog. So, good luck with the rest of your future animations, art, etc. Hope you had a good day yesterday.
