Released "HOTM 1 Revised". Now leave me alone.

Posted by Bobert-Rob - July 7th, 2008

For those of you who check my page often, you know I've been debating whether or not to release HOTM 1: Revised Edition on Newgrounds. Well, I did it. It's out now. You can watch it and tell me how the audio quality sucks or how I should've reanimated more of it... or even complain how the characters still don't have noses. I'm done with messing with it, so there you go. It is what it is, impurities included. Vote honestly. I'm working against a front page, just so you know... I even made sure to release it on a day when other higher scoring submissions are released, so I should succeed in my anti-success mission.

Hotrod Opened the Matrix 1: Revised Edition

In other news, I played a ridiculous game the other day... an amateur RPG entitled "Barkley's Shut up and Jam: Gaiden". It's great in a hilariously stupid way, I love it. All the references, the idiotically serious story about super basketball powers... Google it if you're interested. It's a .exe game you play off your harddrive, not a flash game, so keep that in mind if you actually want to play it. Also, it's like 60+ MB big, so the download'll take awhile... but is totally worth it. Yay for awesome amateur games.

Yay, only two paragraphs. Must be your lucky day.

HotRod has settled my lust for more Siblings toons for now...
And your beard scares me! :O

that intro was painful, you should get to the point or at least shorten that by half,

Sorry about that.

I watched the hole thing and I liked it but it was FREAKING long, in total how long did it took you to make it, not counting the years just the work time on it?

I forget exactly. I did the original animation during the fall of 03. It was about 20 minutes long then, but a lot of it was drawn out back then. Well, more drawn out than it is now. The revision took a few months of work before I lost interest. Then I spent half a month this year to finish it up. So... I guess all things considered, it took about 6 months. Probably should've worked to revamp the animation itself, but I'm tired of working with it so I leave it as it is.

just finished watching it. ive left a review so see my thoughts there :) hows the mini ep of siblings goin so far?

Oh it's going. I'm going back and forth between working on it and The Heart and the Hand p2. Currently doing the latter, but like I said, it goes back and forth.

cool ... and i have a question are you making a heart and hand part2

Of course. I'm taking my time with it, but it's still in production. It won't be out anytime soon, I'm afraid.

Hmm, that Barkley's Shut up and Jam: Gaiden sounds interesting enough to give it a go. Speaking of games, can't wait till Spike comes out for M.U.G.E.N.
Although it would seem that you have your hands quite full with your other works currently in progress.

This is true, with the busy hands syndrome. I haven't messed with Spike on MUGEN for awhile, heh. I do expect to finish him... eventually. That's one of my less serious projects at the moment, heh.

And yeah, the RPG I mentioned is awesome... if you can wait for the 60 MB download. A bit much if you don't have a decent internet speed. I got through it, though, and I'm glad I did.

Rob.
I talked to my wall today.
He tells me
Johnny is boring
Johnny needs to play Playstation
not computer.

He plays both, actually. I just like animating him playing computer, though. Funnier that way. I will probably do an episode where he's playing some other game on some console, but I have yet to decide which game it'll be, or what episode. It'll happen though, I'm sure.
