Hmm...

Not bad. Though a little bit of the creepyness is lost on me, but that's basically cuz this entire thing seemed inspired by the documentary "Deep sea", part of the "Blue Planet" series about wild life in the ocean. This focusing on all the fish in the deeper parts of the ocean. You definitely did the trick of making them creepier though, so props for that. Not saying it's a rip off of those creatures, but I'd say a good... four or five of the creatures in this look really similar to those. Just saying.
On another note, it needs to be... I don't know, slower to be scary, I'd say. It moves along way too quickly to be truly unsettling. That's just my two cents, anyway. What's here is good, if only needing to be pushed a little further.

Scythemantis responds:

I actually didn't get to see Blue Planet until a bit more recently, I've loved the deep sea abyss since I read about it as a child :)

I'm glad you felt it went by a little fast, other people complained it was too long and slow; I think it's fairly brief!

I sure wish flash zealots would shut up

I agree with everyone who says this series should remain as it is. Part of the joke is the shoddy quality of everything. Not every animation has to have pseudo disney quality, you know. Sometimes less is more, and this is true in this case.

Even still, it's obvious that some improvements have been made to the series, mainly with the special effects. Guess you can't keep everything the same, eh? Even still, it retains the qualities that have made Eskimo Bob the legend he is. Keep fighting the good fight, dear sirs. Even the parody ones.

Wow...

That was pretty hard core. Not only the live action factor, but the fact that it looked so damn good. Especially P-bot, heh. Good job on this, guys!

Definitely interesting, and it flowed well

I have to say I'm proud of how this turned out. The clips, while diverse, still fit together rather well. The only things I would change would be the super literal display of the lyrics (starry nights are pretty, but it's kind of silly to show it every time the word star is said) and perhaps tone down on the kissing. Of course, this IS a lovey dovey Valentines day submission, so it delivers on what's expected of it. Good job, everyone!

Zwickel responds:

Yea the pixel part had too many stars.
It's funny how must of us made kissing in the ending frames of each part.

YEAH WELL YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK

I like it! It's all... rough and stuff. Certainly better then my first flash animation, that's for sure. You know all about that, though, DONT YA?!
I find it funny how you had to be like "THIS IS MY FIRST OMG!" in the first sentence. Silly you.
And shouldn't the name of the song be called "Attack of US!"? Attack of the planet smashers by the planet smashers... is just a little redundant.
I like how this rambling is going nowhere.
So yeah, good stuff, I enjoy the style... crude, but it's a good start. Good start indeed. You and your cutesy stuff, heh.
Keep at it!

Araelyn responds:

I totally squealed like a little girl when I saw you wrote me a review.
Just getting that out of the way aha.

Yeah, it's all rough and stuff. I guess I was being SUPER lazy, really. It looks like the stuff I used to draw in classes. All those pictures are just really crude and messy. Messy seems to be a theme in my life. Seriously, you should see my room right now.

Yayy. I'm actually REALLY glad you liked it, especially coming from you. I guess it IS cutesy. Well, you know how much I like cute things.
And, I will keep at it.
Thank you SO much, really.

Wow, well done

Man, this is awesome. Really nice claymation you did here. I'd give it a 10, but the storyline seems a little... nonexistant. Yes, the green things are bad and the guy with three legs saves the day by killing them, but aside from that, there's not much plot. Not that you'd need it... and I'm sure I missed something due to the text being hard to read. Oh well, it was awesome either way, great job!

MackProductions responds:

Thanks! I appreciate it! Yeah the storyline wasn't too deep mainly so the somewhat simple idea could be applied to multiple things. But yeah, the text got fuzzy when flash-ed, so I'll add what it says to the description.

Heh...

That was definitely one of the strangest things I've seen in awhile. Funny, though. Like the ravings of a mad man. Thanks for throwing it together on such short notice!

DBZ inspired randomness

I want to rate it lower due to the obvious inspirations here, but it was well put together. It looked nice, but it just seems more or less standard NG-fare. You know, DBZ-Matrix-Awesome mixtures of fighting and the random shit happening. You're getting better at animation though, so good job with that. Good luck with future works, yo. If you even read this, heh.

Oney responds:

if i ever read this? i read EVERY SINGLE REVIEW dude! thanks for watching, halfbeard!

Wow...

That, dear sir, was awesome. I remember you with your 'These are the boring bits' submission, but this one is definitely unique compared to that. In a good way, of course. I like the idea and symbolism here, very nice. Some may watch and be turned off by the lack of an obvious story, but I think the story is definitely there if you look for it. It's vague, but this is one of those times when the less details you have, the better. Lets the viewer fill in the spaces themselves, you know? I also really like the sound used, it helps set the mood really well. Kind of subliminal, it a way. I've always been a fan of this sort of thing and you do it well, thanks for making it.

Ehm... okay then

Animated fluently, although the entire thing is a little short. Actually, it's REALLY short. Which would've been fine had the plot gone anywhere. That's probably part of the humor, but this is so short it seems like you didn't try very much. You could've gone further with it is all I'm saying. What's there is alright though. A total of two jokes doesn't make for a satisfying story is all, especially if what you're trying for is comedy. So, uh... thumbs up to that, I suppose. Keep trying, you'll get there.

All I do all day is make cartoons in various programs. Comedic animations, parodies of movies and video games. EGO FI.
