I really enjoyed that. Sure, it's unfair, but not so much that it robs you of enjoyment so much as it just throws obstacles at you with little or no warning, which is cool. Plus, not having a game over screen helps a lot. I think I died about 150 times before I beat it, good fun. I think the most difficult level was the one with all the coins, remembering where the hidden platforms was took awhile. Everything else was surprisingly doable. Regardless, I enjoyed it, so good job.

I enjoyed it myself. A really simple game, but it's not a game that's about programming complexity. It's about the idea of religious icons duking it out, and it's that idea that works I think. I've heard of Bible Fight, but from what I've read, it doesn't actually cover all the major religions like this one does. Plus, the idea of religious icons fighting eachother isn't a very original one, it's something everyone's thought about. It's like when you were a kid and you'd wonder who'd win in a fight between super heroes, you just took that idea and applied it to religion. I'd love to see a sequel that adds more religious icons, though. Good stuff.

Well that wasn't bad. I mean, it wasn't great, but at least it doesn't, you know, suck. I have no idea where the song is from, and that may be helping. Really simple. And don't be put off by the somewhat low score, I'm just giving that because it's short and barely contains any animation, it's more of a slideshow of images. But you're still learning, so I'll be fair.
And on another note, the girlfriend seemed really happy when she was flipping the dude off and saying "f u". Seems like she wasn't being an asshole, she was just offering him some 'we broke up' sex. That's kind of funny. To me anyway. Keep trying, you'll get there!

Hey no prob better than a 0 :P. Yep I'll practice my animation more... About the GF, I changed her mouth in the last minute...It was a lot scarier...I liked the nicer looking mouth...She seemed less like a bitch. Oh by the way the song was from "Songs to wear Pants To" by Andrew Pants. He does a lot of funny requests. Theres a link on the right of the cartoon.

Of course my brain is a tree that causes snow to fall. It makes so much sense. Good music. Could've been animated a little better, but what was there was good. Yes indeed.
And on another note entirely, I sure hate preloaders that play themselves. Y'know, cuz I do shit when I'm waiting for it to load, and then I hear music and it's like "That bastard flash started playing itself, didn't it?". That's what it's like. DA DUT DUT DAH DUUUH!

This is damn awesome. Another great installment. I really like the music in the background, it really sets the mood greatly. A personal favorite part of mine is the "You're ugly and nobody likes you" part, it's so simple, but the way you act it out is perfect. On the note of voices, I wish people would stop saying "Dur, all the voices sound the same", I'd rather have the voices sound the same and be acted out perfectly than having everyone sound different, but with subpar acting. The acting is what really sells this for me. Well, that and the timing, couldn't be any better. Great job!

Never one to disappoint, are you? Damn, that was amazing, as usual (kind of an oxymoron, isn't it?). A lot of really jaw dropping visual candy in this one. Really awesome water effects. I don't mean the whole "omg, realistic water" (that's been your staple compliment for awhile now), but the sequence where Bitey was swimming was really realistic and well done. There's only one gripe with this episode, though, and that would be about the ending. It just kind of ended out of nowhere. Perhaps a little aftermath, like seeing Bitey still stuck in the tree, tired as hell, but relieved that it's over... that would've been cool. That's story-telling related though, and a really minor detail that could be worked upon. Regardless, amazingly great stuff. It's to be expected with you, of course. I can't wait for the next installment (which I doubt we'll be seeing until 09 if you put as much work into it as you did this one). Thank you for gracing the world with another god-like animation! Time to watch it again...
Author's Response:
thanks! It's interesting you pointed out the under water sequence, as it's one of my personal favourites too. The great thing is that sequence is mostly colour and lighting effects but very little actual water animation. Thanks for noticing :D
At one stage I also considered coming back to Bitey after the end credits, but showing him hanging there would possibly have appeared a bit morbid, like a gallows shot. I eventually decided on the ending you see but have plans to include a hidden bonus scene when I get some more time.
Thanks again.

Well.... I'm not even sure what to say. Part of me wants to say it was good, because it was animated really well. It was very precise and well done. Then again, part of me wants to criticize you for using something like suicide so soon in the animation. You really don't build up to the suicide at all. He looks at some kind of ad, looks at a blank canvas, and shoots himself. What was the point? Perhaps he had the intention of making himself famous by doing that, but there's still no buildup that would explain why he would just throw his life away like that, even if it WAS for art. I couldn't even tell if there WAS any sort of struggle. Should've built up to that a little more. But for an animation done in less than a week, it's really good. Perhaps you could've beefed it up a little bit before presenting it to the world, though. Add just a smidgeon more of story, the world would appreciate it I'm sure. Just a thought. Good luck with future stuff.

Just the concept of a parody of a parody is awesome. This should continue, with each parody simplifying the script more and more until it's incomprehendable. Wouldn't take very long though, would it? Of course, there wasn't any real SKILL involved in the creation of this, but that's part of the parody. Good stuff.
Author's Response:
there was a perody of a parody of a parody, but it got deleted i think
it went all rainbow colored and was truly a thing of madness.

Very nice short you got here. I seriously doubt it was done in flash, though. It's got a little grainyness to the picture, which leads me to believe you used something more professional... toonboom, perhaps? I don't know, that's the only other program I can think of that could do animation at this level. Unless you DID do this in flash and had to export as a movie file and reimport for some reason. Regardless, the picture was still pretty crisp and everything still looked awesome, so good job with that. The music really added a lot to it as well. The story is simple, but that's part of what's charming about it. That and the setting, you chose a really good one. All in all, great job. Hope you do more, because this was great. Take care.
Author's Response:
It's all Flash and yes, I had to re-import it back in as a .mov file. Thanks for your comment.

Well, that wasn't bad, I suppose. The animation was pretty good, but the voice acting needs to be worked on a bit. That and I found the humor to be... well... a little dry. Other people seem to be enjoying it, though, so perhaps it just didn't match my personal taste. The one part I laughed at was the joke about the black eyed one's eyes not showing up in the dark... what was his name, Tod? Are there two characters named Tod or something? Perhaps I heard wrong, but if that's the case, kind of confusing having two characters with the same name. And the timing is a little slow, too (I've seen slower toons, though, so yours isn't very bad with that, just something I'd work on a little). I'm being kind of nit picky though, all in all, good effort. Keep at it.
Author's Response:
Holy crap, i had no idea you reviewed one of my movies!
Love your stuff, glad you found something to enjoy in my flash!
