Ok, so one of my friends asked me about supplying the first animation I had ever completed, a music video entitled "Dang ol' Greenhaah". This got me thinking I might as well make it available to all, so I put it on my website. But some notes about it:

It's the first animation I ever finished, so it's really REALLY dated... even more-so than my HOTM series. If you're interested in seeing it, well... you can find that at my site. Just remember it's old, so it doesn't reflect my current ability at all. It's crudely drawn and choppy as can be. It also uses real photos of people for the characters' faces. Yep, it's THAT lame. That's why I won't be submitting it here. I fixed a few things in the animation itself, like broken tweens and added filters to some of the backgrounds, but most of the animation remains the same.

Yep. Well, it's a super old picture, but yeah, that'd be me. With my vampire teeth... I really don't know what's up with the vampire teeth, I used to draw them a lot on people.

Why yes, yes they have. Like I said, it's just there for comparison. And, you know, for those that're interested in what Rob's first animation looked like. Thankfully, I've gotten MUCH better, heh. And hey, at least it isn't stick figures.

Well thanks, I think. Yeah, what I do now if definitely better, but there's an odd charm to the old stuff. Not sure how, but it's there.

It's a lot better than most people's first animation. Probably because people literally throw the first thing they ever draw in flash to the portal and you practiced. On a side note, NIN released a new album just now.

Is it that 'ghosts' thing? Shit, I still haven't bought that Year Zero album, the bastards. Oh well. And yeah, I wanted the first thing to actually have some meat to it. 5 minutes of meat... which is a bit much, but I've always been an over-ambitious individual.

wow... that was one hell of a 5minute epic.
if i had known you in highschool and had the same class... that inside joke-like music video would probably have been the greatest epic ever... EVER!

btw whatever happened to HOTM? h'yeh the animation and plot was all over the place but i do kinda prefer a concrete ending... someday. I'm not trying to be a nag here since you've dished out a whole butt load of phenomenal works in the past few years, but just curious about that.

Yeah, I know, it's like an annoying gargoyle perched on my house of animation that won't go away... the incompletion of HOTM I mean. I would like to eventually finish it, but I have so many other works of mine right now that look better than it that it's hard to find the energy to want to finish it, you know?
And yeah, the inside jokes in the music video make it hard to get into, but I'm glad you were able to walk away from it satisfied, heh.

Perhaps eventually. I'm working on getting Siblings established as a series here at the moment, so I'll be satisfied once that takes place. Someday. And yeah, the music video does kind of drag on, doesn't it? Heh. Sorry bout that, but alas... it was my first work.
